Description
I am currently aiming in my research to identify the resistomes of local bees, cattle, pigs and black belly sheep in the island of Barbados. I am seeking to do so by the sequencing of the genome, and using this information to identify novel and/or unique antimicrobial resistance genes to the island.

Description
During my undergraduate studies, I would have participated in courses all scientific in nature, even participating in case studies invstigating the profiles of nasal isolates, characterisation of fungal plant pathogens, as well as the detectionof phages in influent sewage samples. I additionally carried out a research project in which I aimed to develop novel techniques for the isolation of enzymes commonly used and referenced to within the biological and chemical sciences department of the Faculty of Science and Technology within thr university.
